Sound Devices ISO 4 Plugin for 888 recorder

Need to customize your 888 mixer-recorder with additional channels for high-channel-count productions or extra routing flexibility? The ISO 4 plugin adds four ISO channels and four record tracks, which increases your 888 mixer-recorder to 20 channels and 24 tracks. 

These additional channels can be sourced from any input and routed to the main mix bus, additional buses, and any output. Now you can pack in the tracks with wireless channels from your SL-2, A20-Nexus receiver, A20-Nexus Go receiver, and via the analog, AES, Dante, or USB inputs. 

You can also use the extra channels for redundancy: record up to 10 unprocessed and 10 processed tracks with any effect. Apply low-cut, limiters, and compression – just like the original sixteen channels. 

The ISO 4 plugin requires 8-Series and SD-Remote v10.10 firmware or higher to run. 

Additional channels 17-20 support the following:  

• Source routing from any physical input type (Mic, Line, Dante, USB, AES3, AES42, and Returns) 
• Trim, Fader 
• HPF 
• Limiter and Compressor 
• ISO and Bus Routing 

Please note: 

Additional channels (17-20) do not support linking, auto mixing, noise suppression, EQ, or input delay. 
Default Dante input routing is Dante 1-16 to Channels 1-16 and Dante 1-4 are duplicated to channels 17-20. This routing can be changed in the Source menu or via Audinate’s Dante Controller Windows and Mac application.
